COMBAT STRESS RETREATS

Combat Stress has been around a very long time. We believe one of the best ways to relieve combat stress is to bring combat veterans together while providing retreats which help relieve stress. These retreats take place in an outdoor setting with light physical activity and build camaraderie! Our veterans have sacrificed so much for our country. We want to give our combat veterans a retreat to look forward to every year. Each retreat will solidify the brotherhood which is missing from combat soldiers. Suicide Prevention

We strive to support every veteran we work with to live their best life. We have personal experience and insight to help combat veteran suicide and work with other veterans and groups to take care of our soldiers facing this. Twenty-two (22) veterans a day take their lives. Support from family and friends is the most important of all. Suicide Prevention Line 1-800-273-8255.

Vision For The Future

Combat Warrior Relief Foundation is firm in its stance on the lack of healthcare availability for veterans, therefore we strive to provide access to healthcare which is permanent, not over medicating, and purposeful for veterans who have given their sweat and blood for every person in the United States. We desire to become more of a force in the law making process in government by contacting our congressional representatives with real issues veterans face daily, by lobbying in congress. We desire lawmakers to put combat injured veterans first when it comes to healthcare, by providing the best doctors available, and education by not putting limits on education for them.

   Combat Warrior Relief Foundation also strives to improve education benefits available to veterans and their families. Veterans educational benefits are being reduced every year. Certain combat injured vets can not get financial aid to better their education and once again be a valuable part of society due to their injuries. Many times after serving in a war and being injured the VA will not even pay for a four year degree as they are promised by recruiters.

   Combat injured vets' dependents are eligible for college education assistance which is roughly equal to 1/4th of college costs.

    Injured vets should have access to at minimum a 4 year degree along with their children. After all combat vets were fighting our wars for us while most other children were attending college. Help us fight to educate them and put them in top tier careers.

   While they may no longer be able to break their backs fighting wars it doesn't mean they cant work in offices playing important roles in our communities. 

   We also insist each veteran has a home to sleep and benefits that cannot be taken away.

   Finally, Combat Warrior Relief Foundation strongly believes only the help of people like you through donations will make our foundation strong. We provide a positive and strong stance for individuals to get behind their Veterans and prove the one percent (1%) of the United States citizens that serves in war is important and appreciated. We feel after all they have sacrificed, this is the least we can do for them. We ask for you to “Follow Us” as we “Lead the Way” to fight for those who fought for us.

Helping the community (Specify Donations for this cause)

At Combat Warrior Relief Foundation, we are dedicated to helping combat injured veterans and their families who are struggling financially. We also help families of the fallen. While we do require a DD-214 and proof of need, we strive to provide financial assistance faster than larger organizations. While other organizations are taking months or years, we pride ourselves in working faster and more efficiently to get the help our veteran's need, when they need it.

Transition Assistance (Specify donations for this cause)

At Combat Warrior Relief Foundation we provide transition assistance by helping veterans apply for VA healthcare and other federal benefits. We also help veterans get to and from appointments, while getting them in touch with the best service officers in their area. Its never too late to seek healthcare and benefits if you are a disabled veteran. There is no shame in asking for assistance. Less than 1% of our population served in the military, even less in combat. You have earned the benefits you deserve and are entitled to.

Homeless Outreach (Specify donation for this outreach)

 Combat Warrior Relief Foundation works in collaboration with other organizations to combat homeless veterans. Our vision for the future is to purchase land and build homes for disabled veterans, but this will only be possible with your help and substantial donations. In the event we cannot provide immediate shelter we do what we can to make their quality of life better until more help is available.
